This course is the first stage of required courses by Hawaii Board of Massage  It will be followed by the  420 hour, State of Hawaii Apprentice/Education program.  Upon completion of 570 total hours, you will qualify to apply to take the State of Hawaii Board exam to acquire you State Massage Therapist License.

Students who enroll early, will receive a sizable discount in the Level 1, 150 hour course.  My Level 1, 150 hour tuition is $1,700 (much less for early enrollment).   My Apprentice/Education program is very unique, and monthly fees can be dramatically reduced, even COST FREE (!) with good participation.

Only 36 were choosen by the International Olympic Committee for the final team, including your instructor Geno Ortiz L.M.T MEMBER OF THE FIRST "WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IRONMAN TRIATHLON" MASSAGE TEAM" IN KAILUA-KONA, HAWAII: When the Ironman World Championship moved to Kailua-Kona in 1981, Geno and 36 other Kona massage therapists were at the finish line greeting the athletes with massage. Geno now teaches "Triathlon M.M.T. Massage" courses. FIRST: The first high end "Triathlon Team" (J. David Triathlon Team) choose Geno to be their full time and traveling massage therapist from 1982-1984. The team consisted of about 9 World Champions, men and women. FIRST: And only Winter and Summer Olympic Massage Therapist in the State of Hawaii. Hand picked by the International Olympic Committee FIRST: Courtside massage therapist for Association of Volleyball Professionals (Professional Beach Volleyball), 1985-86. NOT ALL MASSAGE IS THE SAME! My massage training system offers an excellent opportunity for you to acquire incredible hands on skills and a vast amount of anatomical knowledge. Anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology is emphasized. The focus will be the muscular, circulatory, nervous, skeletal, respiratory and digestive systems. You will learn how to identify close to 40 muscles and will acquire the skills to apply massage techniques to these muscles, not wipe skin over those muscles. At the end of my 10 week introductory course (required by the State Board of Massage), you will have the skills to give a quality massage treatment, whether for relaxation or for therapeutic reasons. The foundation of knowledge and skills developed in this course will open the doors to utilize the tremendous advanced techniques offered in the upper level classes. The education/hands on skills you learn in the 150 hour course, have no equal. These hands on skills have been requested and provided for at: World Class Spas/Hotels, the Olympic Games, Professional Volleyball Association, Professional Sports teams, Medical, Orthopedic, Chiropractic Centers and many other venues. The "World Class" hands on skills you will learn is referred to as: "Muscular Massage Therapy". It is the ultimate hands on treatment for: relaxation, muscle therapy, headaches (80% are muscle related), elderly care, athletes, etc. I WILL NOT teach you how to "wipe skin".
